sea foam in trany

I have had issues with my automatic gearbox not engaging from park. just stays in neutral til I rev the engine a little. I had a friend suggest using sea foam, but the bottle shows it is for an additive to oil and fuel. Is putting it in the trany going to give me trouble?

I would change the fluid before trying any snake oil.

I wouldn't even consider putting that in a transmission. You probably need a transmission...

Is your friend learning disabled? Sounds like it though the learning disabled usually just want to stick their balls in it.
