security issue

Hey everyone. My D2 is having a security issue. I have to hit the unlock on the fob every time i try and start the truck. If I don't I get the solid red security light and no crank. I have cleared all security codes and all unused PLIPS in the computer. What could be causing this?

Yes. I think the vehicle is in "passive immobilization" mode. I need a nanocom to get into the BCU. I think I'm about to bite the bullet and buy one.

On my d1 I have to hit the button on the fob Everytime to start it.

Only long ago I used the EKA code in the door and didn't need to FOB button to start..

I'm assuming you were in "valet mode" for parking people/ limp mode.. reset something and it went back to normal alarm mode.

Idk if D2 do it, but retype the EKA CODE and see if it just starts with the key after that.
