Series High Pressure Fuel Pump

Anybody know of anyone who has put a high pressure fuel pump in a Series fuel tank?

why not just mount one outside the tank. Certainly has to be eaiser to do and to maintain.

A friend installed on in his vortec swap. It was a 5 door rear tank. It worked fine. He boiled the tank. Filled the tank with argon, welded a flange on it, drilled and tapped for the pump patten. I havent had the need to do one yet, but I have a project coming up in the near future that will require it.
