Series I Brake M/C Conversion

I have all the new wheel cylinders, hoses, and shoes for my 80", but can't find a master cylinder. I'm considering resleeving with brass, but wonder if anyone has done a conversion to a Series II and later master cylinder? I have a little time, so I want all options (besides my sandals are worn out from stopping!)

Its been done, frequently in fact. Join the series one mailing list. Most people on discoweb think a series one is a discovery . . .

In order to fit a later MC you need to drill the outrigger and either move it slightly, clearance the frame or grind a lot of the MC.

I would use a new donor Series II one for internals and sleeve the old if necessary.
