Series III Dash

Hello all,

After seven months of working on the truck I finally got to bring her home Friday.

One of the members in my club brought me back a lower dash from England and I was hoping someone could post up a picture of what the dash is supposed to look like once it is installed.

What confuses me is that the new dash reaches the whole way across the front under the steering wheel. There is already trim under the steering wheel and I think this may all be homemade by the PO.

RN has nice diagrams in there catalog of the dash but I was hoping for a picture.

Any help is appreciated.

This is a fairly good view..... Though where the main lower dash ends and meets up to the lower wiper motor cover is obscured by the keys hanging form the ignition switch.

Is there a shelf missing in the middle? Mine has a shelf more like a IIa above where the lower dash goes and where the upper dash is.

I will try and take a picture tomorrow if I get a chance.

Dav1550 has posted what the Series III dash is. Sounds like you may have a modified dash by PO, or a D90 dash (aka the shelf).

Looks like an early defender dash. Early 80's. I believe a Euro spec.. Got one here like this.
