I allready sewer-caped my rear and now it's time to do the front. My question is, will it fit? It looks like the panhard bar is too close and will hang up on the cap under compression.

I'm using half the pipe-cap as a weld-on cover if that makes a difference clearence-wise.

Cool, I am just running half for now, don't have time to pull the axel and do a proper sewer-caping, so I'm going with the "something is better than nothing" theory

You will be fine if you do what I have pictured. If you plan to go full sewer cap, then you may want to go ahead and get that panhard rod from Rover Tracks.

Good luck!

Resurrecting an old thread...
My front diff cover has a sizable dent in the lower half. My thoughts are to cut it off and weld on a sewer cap based on info in a couple of old threads I found. But tracking down a sewer cap is a bit of a problem.
Does anyone know where I can get a cap? The correct cap seems to be a weldable 8" slip fit sewer cap correct?
