I assumed he ment to ship a Rover, though you guys are right...guess he doesn't really say so it could be anything....like a book, a rock, letter, or even a pencil among other things.

I used these guys: http://www.exoticcartransport.com/ to bring a classic Benz from Florida to VA. It was a little more than the cheap guys with an open trailer, but not my much. When they dropped off the car, there was a Ferrari F-40 in the truck with it... I'm bettin they were careful! I think it was only $300 more than the quotes from the low end guys, some of which just had a three car ramp trailer and an F350. Depends how much you love your Defender.

Try Accelerated Express, they are out of Denver. I have shipped Rovers from RI and MA to Denver. They are VERY reasonable compared to others. I think $750 each way....

Also....
They don't drop at a terminal where it's a nightmare to find and get your defender on the road. They have there own lot, just let them know when you will be in town and they will make sure to be around. In fact they gave me a ride to the airport the first time I used them. Really good people.

Well, I decided to take care of it myself. Aspen to Denver to Chicago to Virginia tomorrow, 1,649 miles home Saturday and Sunday.
