Normally it's a concern, but the +2" kits don't require taller bump stops.

It looks like the +2 shocks have a compressed length of 15.55" for the front and 15.35" for the rear. Stock shocks I found to be about 12.87" and 13.62 I think, respectively. Seems like a pretty big difference to me, but you're saying that the stock frame bump stops will contact before the shock compresses fully?

Just curious since I've been thinking of running longer shocks with stock height springs. However, not sure if it will be much benefit since the springs will need to be retained from dislocating?

I've hit the bump stops many times and never bottomed out a ProSport shock. The TF catalog shows that +5" kits come with bump stops while the +2" don't.

How about this setup for 240,000 mile stock suspension replacement?

Thanks for all of the suggestions guys! After a few calls and emails, I've ordered the above for my stock suspension replacement. While the upgraded springs would have been nice, the extra $100 went towards bushings and a damper shock. New tires have been installed and the interio removed for a good cleaning and headliner fix (paint vs fabric). The truck will seem new to me by next weekends camping trip:). Thanks again...

I installed the new shocks and springs without issues (It's nice having a truck south of the rust belt) and will be testing the new setup next weekend on 60 miles of forrest service roads. The truck is setting up much more than before, but still looks good with stock wheels and tires. When I pulled the suspension, all four shocks were dead and the passenger side spring measured a full 1.5" lower than the driver's side spring. The rear of the truck is a bit stiffer unloaded but rides great loaded. Perfect for towing my trailers and hauling dogs and camping gear.
