Does anyone know if I can run stock shock mounts in the front and rear on a DI with a 3" lift? Does Rancho or OME make a shock 3" longer than stock for this application? I am planning on running 3" Rovertym springs but, don't know which shock I should run. I am trying to keep it cheap because "the woman" put me on a budget.

Thanks.

nope, 3" with stock shocks and mounts is too much. you will be topping (bottoming? - can never remember which is which) out the shocks over every little bump. need to get longer shocks or modify mounts. 2" works, but 3 hits the limits.

For the front it's no problem. You can use the stock upper shock mounts with a 3" lift provided you install the taller Toyota Land Cruiser N73 shocks. For the rear you have to install 2" lowered upper shock mounts with a 3" suspension lift which you can find at Expedition Exchange. Check their website.
