These trucks were made LH and RH Drive and as the handbrake lever was fitted on the relevent drivers side, then it shouldnt be too much bother to relocate to the corresponding opposite side of the seatbox. The holes may be there under the trim, but if not use the current ones as a template............

Thanks for the reply; that was my train of thought, I was seeing if anyone has done it yet.

Just a thought - there may be a strengthening plate on the seatbox as the material is quite thin - it may be worth checking when you remove the handbrake from its current position - shouldnt be a drama to replicate for the other side............

we recently switched the one on my brothers 110 when we converted to lhd. The lhd cable is a couple inches longer than the rhd. very simple swap. There is a backing plate/bracket that we also switched and he went a head an got the lhd handle assembly so that he would have one with a switch for a dash light-early trucks didn't have them.

on my truck I left the parking brake handle on the right when I converted to lhd. In my NAS 90 the damn parking brake was always in the way. I'm 6'6 so every bit of room I gain makes a big difference in comfort in a defender. Its easy enough to reach over and release it-easier than the tcase shifter.

Damn Doug your a big boy! lol. I'm 6'3" and find it difficult. On the same topic, the D1 seat rails can be turned around to gain some more leg room. Does this go the same for the Defenders?

No the rails on a defender seat are welded to the seat base/frame. I'm running Mud Uk aka Mud Stuff UK seat rails. Raises the seat a little more than an inch and moves it back about 3. I also run a small Momo steering wheel. With those mods its pretty comfortable.
