Sliders Again for 99D1

Because of availability or will not ship issues it's down to the Rock Ware FRAME mounted sliders or the Rover Tym (with wings) SILL mounted sliders. Any advise on FRAME vs. SILL mounted sliders? Any other recomendations?

Can anyone explain why Rockware is the only company offering frame mounted? It seems to me that this would definitely be the stronger solution. Am I missing something here?

DAP also sells sliders that are frame mounted. They are cheaper than the Rockware sliders.

I have the DAP sliders on my truck, and they have held up to my abuses. Not sure if I would get them again though - workmanship is not great (you get what you pay for)

I have a pair of the Rockware frame mounted sliders. They fit well and were easy to install. They also serve as an onboard air tank... or will once I get a compressor.

This guy has a set of RTE D2 sliders he doesn't need The D2 is 1" shorter than the D1 So a wise choice if you are considering bigger tires. Rockware are on backorder also.
