To update I'm pulling fusible link 9. The howard orloff guys said that my truck was the second truck they've ever done this to (the tech who did the work on my truck didn't even know that there was a procedure in test book for this). Didn't really inspire confidence. When I said that to their service manager he became a prick, gave me my money back and told me to never come back. Actually he wished me the best in my future endeavors with my truck (in the sincerest way only an asshole can). According to howard orloff land rover, there is no way to tell the slabs unit that the sls is gone and coils are in place. I would have to buy a brand new slabs unit as it is impossible to reprogram the software. This seems illogical to me but I don't know since I'm not a tech. In addition to this, the shop foreman knew that fusible link 9 needed to be pulled but never did it, again, not making me trust their capabilities in fixing a land rover.
