? Small RED light top left corner of dash TEMP symbol

95 disco .... This light flikers while driving. Missing owners manual. Anyone know what it indicates? WORRIED!..

If it looks like a gear, I believe it is the trannsmission temp light. If so, this light is for temp warnings on the tranns and the transfer case. The first step would be to check your fluid levels and conditions.

I agree with Disco Dan there.
It is the tr@nny over heat light.
Check the fluid level.

Mine came on and stayed on. Fluid was fine and after 2 months I got so annoyed with that little red gear I replaced the sensor.

Same here. my sensor went bad. seemed to be related to when I would clean the engine compartent. I think water got into the contacts or something.
