I was in Raleigh for the storm - they got 2" of ice with an inch of snow on top. Friday it snowed, rained, sleet then all froze, in the evening it put that inch of snow on top. How unprepared is that area for that type of storm? They were using bucket loaders with plows on the front. Insane. Most of the roads were clear by Sunday, parking lots were still solid ice but melting fast.

Back in Bristol, TN yesterday, looks like they got 3-5" of snow.

I miss the big snow storms...

And when did they start naming snow storms? WTF? Blizzard of '16 doesn't work anymore?

Enjoyed plowing the driveway with the RRC and the DI. Too bad I broke the door handle on the Disco this morning though. Old plastic + 10* = destruction!

Edit: need to figure out how to resize pics on my phone to post!

We had about 1/2" of snow here in ATL. Good thing since I'm currently rover-less. Any serious snow and I would have had to take the wife's Durango/minivan out.

We did lose power for a few hours Saturday morning.

Y'all are reminding me of my last winter in CT - 30"+ in one storm. My neighbor had a front loader, luckily. Fuck that place.

I need a truck dammit.

And today is 60 degrees..
47 right now, supposed to be 55 tomorrow.
And then, as late-day rain changes to snow, we're expected to get a couple feet by Monday night.
I suppose if we were all New York City Pussies, it would be time to panic.
But what will actually happen is that I will shovel the driveway and clear off the cars, and we'll all goto work and school as usual.
Of course, this is weather prediction, so we'll probably get 2 inches of snow total.

So far, we got a New York Foot of snow.
You know, they SAY there's 2 feet of snow, but the pictures only show 1 foot.
We've gotten MAYBE 6 inches so far.
Supposed to get 11" - 24" by noon tomorrow.
We'll see...

Picked up 20+ inches in the last 24 hours.
What a pretty day!
Snowplow tried to plow my rover in again.
Didn't work, so I guess I have to goto work today.
