Fires are no joke. If any of disco web peops are in the line of fire and can speak out, do so.
CA is good at this stuff though. One of the best states at "stuff fire". As far as fire goes most states should attempt to emulate CA and IIRC Oregon.
We are horrific at preventing them, which is by far better than putting them out.
i don't remember the stats on this, but CO SUX. We cannot tell you the cause or origination of fires with any accuracy. They put the burden on local (county) to determine source, location,, etc. CA/OR has order of magnitude more people at the state level to focus on the point of origination and how it started, which are key in prevention.
I really don't like CA as a state that much, but there are a couple of things that I do like CalFire is one.
Nothing against the peops, I was one at one point in my life.
