So what brush guards do you like for an '04 DII?

My '96 has them and they're, um, useful even in urban settings. The DII I have my eye on doesn't have 'em. What would you add?

Do you want a "brush guard" or real front end protection?

The bush guards dont do a whole lot.

Are you going more for looks vs function?

The ARB's for 04D2's look good.

If you want a front end that will take out most compact cars and only have the powdercoating chip, go for an RTE.

Brush guards dont do much in an accident:

They may not do much in a street collision (even a slow one), but they can prevent dings here and there from careless parking.

Don't even try to tell me that that ARB Sahara isn't cool. :D They can come without a winch basket, if I recall, which really cleans up the looks.

Cheers,

A "brush guard" for urban settings. How grand.

The stock Land Rover "brush guards" are useless lipstick on a pig.

As long as we're discussing this, who can I even buy a bumper from these days? ARB, RTE, and HLC? That sound about right?

Safari Gard, TJM, and Kaymar are all no longer available in the US, correct?
