Please read the entire description before contacting me.
Selling my 2001 Land Rover Discovery.
The good:
-Startup perfectly & drives great.
-Engine does not run hot, even when I took it on a 1.5 hour very slow drive.
-Passed smog and registered through February 2021.
-It looks great for its age, couple scratches here and there but looks great.
-Interior is fantastic.
-Even have the factory tool kit, third row seats, original manual.
-Everything works. All windows, dual sunroofs, lights, doors.
-AC works fantastic, even keeps cold in the recent heat wave.
-Further, there have been over $6000 in modifications done just last year.
-New EMU 1.5" lift and new shocks.
-New brakes, calipers, rotors.
-New Alternator
The bad:
-There is a Coolant leak.
-There is a small oil leak, but those are pretty common in these cars. Not sure if this is a major issue or not.
-There is also a gas sensor issue that makes three of the dash lights come on. You can google "TC ABS Hill decent light Land Rover" and a bunch of forums pop up.
Specs and Upgrades:
124,500 original miles
4x4
Oxford blue
Cream leather interior
3rd row seat (7-passenger)
Roof/cargo rack
LED light bar, x2
Upgraded sound system
Tow package added
Recent upgrades, over $6k invested:
1. October 2019, upgraded suspension to the old man emu, lifted about 1.5”. New shocks all around.
2. October 2019, upgraded the entire brake system. New calipers, rotors, pads, lines flushed.
3.November 2019: new alternator
4. August 2020: Transmission flush, Coolant flush, Oil Change
I am not mechanical and I don't want to deal with it, I don't have the patience. I have lowered the price to reflect the issues. I have no clue what it will cost to fix.
