The shot of the D2 threw me off for a second. For that second I thought you had somehow managed to bolt a SD rack onto your D3. Cool stuff for sure, but I'm not used to seeing indy suspension on a Rover, give it a couple of years and I'll get adjusted (hopefully buy an orange Rangie Sport too)

Nice shots MVPagent1

Max, you really need to get out and go wheeling with us LR3 owners. You'll get real familar with the LR3 and what it can do. I know you drove one, I read your comments, but dude, you didn't even scratch the surface of what these things can do.

I definitly need to go out wheeling with you and Adam Spiker to fully appreciate the whole Rovers with indy. Suspension thing. I know they're capable, my only real issue is I don't like air suspension, but your truck seems to address that issue nicley. The other gripe I have is the name, LR3 just sounds dumb, but a new decal can fix that. I don't think a Disco 3 could ever replace my D1, but it would make a nice addition to the collection. I'll be down your way (in the OC) bolting up a new lift on my truck, so perhaps we should go on a run while I'm in the neighborhood.

Just take off the LR3 badge and it will be perfect. The name may seem like a petty issue, but I'm just petty enough to be anoyed by it. Rovers are suposed to have names, not alphanumeric codes.

The model name was "Land Rover" those were just generational designations, like the Disco s1 and s2, or Classic vs P38

Oh and Disco 3s that come with coils have struts, wich makes upgrading your shocks expensive, just ask Nathan about that. Why they didn't just use some regular shocks like the D1 and D3 befuddles me. Then again there was no option for a rear locker on my D1, also a bad decision by LR. If only they would put me in charge, the world would be perfect.:D

Land Rover seems to do research on what people want in Land Rovers by soliciting comments from soccer moms and the Grey Pupon crowd and they about totally ignore the people who actually use them off road, I guess because the vast majority of LR owners probably never get them off the pavement. At least the D1 and D2 could be modified pretty easily.
