We would all rather be out driving/wrenching/wheeling... I am a nerd sometimes too... Also- it's free fun and we all need that while owning these trucks. Buy a pizza and a six-pack and veg out on this in the evenings.
So back in 1999 there was a game that allowed you to log in and literally do anything you wanted. It was online, and there were thousands of other people also online. Everything you did was there when you got back on... everything you did effected the other people playing... It was the first one of those. All of those things are normal now but this was the first and it went about it in a very cool way.
So fast forward almost 15 years, and you have Ultima Online of today. It's fun, relaxing, there is risk and reward... you can burn time crafting things people will buy on the thriving economy, or you can fight monsters, kill players, hunt rare items, dig up treasure, fish, cook, it's really a wide open world.
Best part of all it's still a shit ton of fun, and now it's free. Like totally free. There aren't any in-app purchases or bull. It's honest community gaming.
It's a challenge to figure out and it's a real rush to really adventure. It can be topical as all hell or insanesly deep. Unlike games now- you can get killed and loose all your shit. You can also steal all of someone else's.
If you're interested in playing- the very best chance to do so is coming up. A new server is opening and it's not just any new server, it's the best, probably the best ever... and I am not just saying that for effect.
