Source for serp. belt, tensioner?

Who's the best source for the belt, and maybe tensioner? I saw an older post mentioning a "pretty well fits" replacement from Advance, anyone know (Mike Cox?) how that panned out? I'm starting to get a nice little chirp from the belt, and want to be ready on the tensioner if need be.

TIA,

Check DAP or Nathan for the serp belt.

As far as the tensioner, if you have a D1, its over $200, so try to get that bearing ASAP. In my case, I didn't notice the bearing going, and when it went, it completely separated from the pulley, and the pulley itself was cracked, so I had no choice but to replace the whole tensioner assembly.

Well,
Fortunately the Disco isn't my daily driver, so I'll be able to replace the belt, and while it's off I'll check the condition of the bearing, and not have to worry about driving a time bomb ... thanks for all the info, and for the heads-up regarding the bearing.

I'm going through the same thing, my tension pulley is cracked so I can't just replace the bearings but hopefully have found a Dayco replacement. At the dayco website, they do list a tensioner for rovers but not for all years. If you need a new tensioner from rover or brithparts etc, it will cost you in the 200(+) range. I just got the pulley and hopefully it will do the job.

The Belts should be widely available; Napa, Checker, Advance list them but they may have to order it. Dealer cost is around 40 and the other places are around 30 mark. I would take your old one in to be sure the size as the 3.9 and 4.0 require different belt sizes (I think).
