Speedi sleeve for rear main crank seal

I have a 4.6 crank and the rear main seal has worn a small groove into the surface. Is there a speedi sleeve for this rear journal? Or would it be fine just throwing a new seal in and running it. I have no clue if it was leaking before as this is a new (to me) short block.

You can always try seating the seal in a slightly different spot on the crank.

Years ago when I was working for a Scania dealership we had a similar problem on the DS11 engines, cured temporarily by fitting the seal in a slightly different position in the bell housing.

Longer term a new seal was used with a different material.
