Yeah, i prolly shoulda searched this, but this is quicker: I was driving around town the other day and i these lights flashed, then it felt like the car was in 3rd when i started off, i shut the car off and hit the sport mode (lol at sport mode in a disco) button a few times, and when i turned it on again all was well. The book says there is a fault with the electrical part of the transmission, should i be concerned?

Either way, your codes are a symptom.

The next most likely cause is the XYZ switch (trans position sensor). It wouldn't hurt to just clean the connections first (battery and XYZ switch).
