How does it mount?

Got a pic from the side?

Where is the rear-most top rail?

Really good double-sided tape. :) It has eight secure points..

No, it's a SPY photo... Sorry, only the one for now.

There is no rear-most top rail. It's tailed down with the back open for rear top loading ease and/or a roof-top tent to fold open.

Gutter mounts? Attached to the roof rails? Drilled holes in the roof?

Can't really see how it flows with the lines of the truck. I can see the front, vertical, rail support is just that - vertical. It should probably be slanted to match the conture of the windshield/A-piller

The other vertical rail supports should be matched to the pairing pillers.

Yeah, that sucks. You need a rear rail. That would be the ideal mounting location for a Hi-lift, shovel, rear Aux light, or other common tools.

The front of the rack need to dip down a little closer to the windshield, too. The rack looks too small - kind of like a MKIII rack on a Classic.

Wait. The floor is level?

From one aspect, I like this.

From the other, I hate it.

I hate it more than I like it.

Light tabs? Looks like that Urban Offroad rack. Chapman is right, it needs a rear cross section for a highlift. What are the height measurements? Give us more please.

I get that all the time... :)

Thanks for the critisism D. The floor is level. The 3/4 rear section is about 1.5" lower than the front basket. At first it looked odd too but after spending time with it I really like it. It allows full function of the sunroof and you can still lash two pelican cases in the front portion. They fit perfect for side opening.

No drilling at all.

Trust me, it flows with the truck and is more than big enough. It looks perfect... Can't do a rear rail because of the way the hatch opens.... This way the rack still gets a "full" look with it and doesn't interfere with anything.

Hi-lift on the left, shovel/axe on the right along with Kayak mounts. Still allows for a full roof-top tent and some gear in the 3/4 section. Oh, and there's a ladder as well.

We can dip it down a bit more and will - we will also push back the top rail another .5" or so to match the line of the windshield perfectly.

This is MUCH different that Urbans in person. Four front light tabs, two rears and a rear cb antenna mount as well. Just not pictured.

Again, hi-lift doesn't fit on the rear section and we wanted it open.

Have you ever mounted a roof top tent or seen how the lr3 hatch opens a bit higher than the glass roof...? especially if the user has a ladder. lr3's don't "like" rear opening roof top tents, side opening is the way to go on lr3's.

the floor is not necessarily "level" from what i can see but rather the front 1/3 floor level is at the same level as the upper perimeter bars, presumably to leave sun roof clearance but - ewe, weird design so far.

the hannibal is the best i've seen anywhere on the web for the lr3. very versatile, low profile, won't rust, etc, etc.

Presuming of course, that 6 of those points are along the stock roof track, your weak point is the attachment of that track to the roof/body. They are no where near rated the same way as the old racks in Disco/Defender/Classic gutters were. The mount points in the front roof area are basically one bolt entry that is merely 1/4" at most.
