squeaking noise near t-case

Hello,

I have a d2 2003 when at certain rev ranges i have a high pitch squeak coming from the general area by the t-case. When under a stronger throttle no squeak. T-case is fresh just dropped in with 40k on it. When shifted to neutral (tcase) squeak is still occasionally present. What would you guys check. Also a heavy thunk is present when getting on and off throttle or when going D-R. I've always had that which is normal but this is more present then ever.

I had a squeek that was annoying and hard to recreate and it turned to be the bolts on the metal bracket that the rubber mount bolts to for the TCase was a bit loose and when the motor torqued it squeeked against the chassis. if your Tcase is recently installed I would check the tightness of the bolts that hold the brackets to the frame.

DS was toast, thanks guys I am going to check the t-case for looseness next as there is still a thunk without a front ds in the truck. Thunk is still louder then usual.

Thats actually normal when you remove the DS and lock the CDL.
