Stamps... WTF

I ended up with precisely 2.75 metric shit-tons of stamps.

They come from a variety of eras, and many of them are in those four-stamp sheet things. There are quite a few oddball stamps, as well. Most of them are in protective sleeves, numbered with the "stamp collecting number" thing.

I know shit-all about stamp values. They stick to stuff and mail happens. That's all I care about. I will normally absorb whatever information I require fairly quickly, but this is bullshit. I don't want that nonsense clogging up my brain.

I've got hundreds and hundreds of the damned things, and I certainly don't want to photograph and evaluate them individually.

Now, I'd just sell them all at once, but after a bit of cursory research it became apparent that the range of values warrants a more careful sale; especially given their condition.

What the hell am I supposed to do with these things? Is anyone here willing to admit to being a stamp collector?

As if this wasn't bad enough, I need to move a bunch of coins, as well. It's a good thing many of them are sterling silver. That's easier. Silver has a value. When I undercut that value, it sells. Simple. I like simple.

Cheers,

Kennith

I have zero clue either.

I have a huge pile of metals and special edition token/medal thingies made outside Philly by some famous place? That's how clueless I am. Left to me by family who was involved in that industry. No idea what to do with them.

If anyone knows - I'd love some help too! Ill post a pic of some of them, maybe someone will have a clue.

Kennith, if you've got valuable coins, shoot me some photo's if you're interested in getting rid of them.

My dad is a huge coin collector and something you have might make a fine christmas gift for him.

Kennith, I am mildly surprised you are not a philatelist. With your penchant for detail I could see it being of interest. When's the next time Antiques Roadshow is due in your area?

I understand and observe the precision and artfulness of them, but I simply don't find stamps interesting.

As for the Antiques Roadshow, I've no idea. I've never actually watched it.

Got any weird shit from any of the Great Britain colonies?

I got an uncle that is into that. Would be a cool Christmas Present for him.

I've got some ivory from that era here, but I intend to burn it.

I'll have to look around to see what else is present. What sort of stuff are you looking for?

Cheers,

Kennith

Just look for someone on google that may be able to help you with the amount they are worth, you may have a small fortune on your hands. Hope this helps.
