Stanex cases ?

Does anyone have any Stanex cases? Any opinions? Are they worth the extra money? I'm thinking of getting a Pelican 1690 for the truck but came across Stanex in the search - they are almost $200 more than the pelicans .... yikes.

they are alluminum.
if you want alluminum you should look in Cabelas at gun cases.they have/had a nice selection when i needed them at resonable cost.
even though they are gun cases they can fit any need.
i carried the aluminum and the pelican on many long disatnce flights.
aluminum dents and bends, pelicans gash and split.

I think you should reinvent the wheel. Buy 10 of them.

If those aren't expensive enough, look at Zarges. They are the bomb.

You don't want all your steel tools and recovery gear in an aluminum case.

Go with something like Pelican.

Same as everyone else, aluminum not the way to go.

So which was it Hardiggs or Pelicans or you already had Hardiggs and bought Pelicans

Already had some Hardiggs and a few pelicans - just adding to the collection.
