Staun Bead locks

Has anyone had any experience with this Staun Beadlock system? Looks like it would work well, and be a lot easier to deal with than the traditional bead lock rim.

I think this new system has been out for a little while, but I haven't come across anyone that has tried them.

They're great! but at $200 a piece, not many people see the value of running them...(I dont have 'em but I want 'em!)

They are not new. They have been around for around 25 years. Developed in Sweden? for the military by Tireloc and sold since that time. Tireloc's Australian distributor "Second Air" started selling their own version at a lower price. As Australia was their main market, Tireloc went out of business. Staun is acting as the reseller for Second Air outside of Australia.

Anyway, most people have good experience with them. The biggest complaints are difficulties with mounting and balancing.
