Nice! Whats your suspension setup?

I went cheap for now so I could just get it on the road, running 2.5 supreme suspension under coil bucket spacers and a 2" body lift. Haters gonna hate but I don't care it works just fine. I'll be saving up $ for corrected arms and 3-4" coils. My first D2 had 2" OME HD and was running 34-9.50-16"s swampers on stock rims, had no clearance issues but nowhere the size tire/wheel I have now and didn't flex that well.

Adjust your steering stops or just deal with it if it's only at full lock. No need to start cutting or putting Jeep-ish flares on

Yeah that's about where I'm at, I just don't want the tire to "self clearance" the front fender if I get in a real bind on the trail. I don't get to crazy anymore maybe 2-3 rated trails and backroad camping.

so you need to cut the fenders even with a 2" body lift...what size tires and are you running any bumpstops?

another question, seeing how D2 rims are hubcentric, do they fit snug on the hub?

They are tight at the bottom of the front fender, it's fine unless full lock and flexed. Running 4.5 inch of lift, 35-12.50-15 on pro comp 15" with 4.5 back spacing. Stock bumpstops no sway bars.

No these wheels are not hubcentric

Extend your bumpstops, it will save you cutting and bottoming out your shocks...

cheap bastard move on the rims, never could understand why guy's think they can run the wrong rims and not have a issue, good luck keeping them from causing vibrations in a couple thousand miles

I was going to move the bump stops, I'm good with mostly down travel.

Yep I'm a cheap bastard, if you want to be a helpful bastard and throw me some cash I'll gladly accept it. I don't really give a f@$k about the rims at $190 if they go to hell I'll throw them in the trash and get something else or get hubcentric spacers. All the " rover specific" wheels are over priced (IMO) and I don't like the way they look. Everyone has there own opinion and ideas, I've been wheeling for years jeeps, rovers, chevys, fords and all have things that needed to be changed or use parts not intended for that vehicle. It is what it is.

Probably shouldn't have put nitrous on my challenger either......but I did and don't give a f$&@&&$&!

lighten up snowflake...

ˈmɔːrɒn: moron:
insists he's been wheeling for decades
has run every type of vehicle that has a transfer case
has ran every mod possible for every vehicle possible but insist on going the cheap bastard route:see below

tʃiːpˈbɑːstəd:cheap bastard:
installs a 2 body lift because he thinks it's going to improve off-road capabilities
installs spring spacers, some wierd ass cheap shocks and doesn't extend bumpstops to keep from destroying shocks
buys cheap ass rims, has to ream out the lugs holes to make them fit and thinks it's great solution to run 35's

fucking dumb ass and probably think's running the Charloutte Gap is EXXXTREME (if you ever ran it, let alone know what and where it is)

let me guess...AZLRO trail leader too...

Hahah snowflake, reflecting upon yourself? I'm far from a snowflake Mr badass. Why you get so offended? Why you make it personal? Are you just a lonely sad guy? Yep went as cheap as possible to run 35"s on cheap ass rims to gain clearance....and don't care. Yep know where the gap is, axle alley, woodpecker etc,etc don't care for that anymore. Nope not part of AZLRO nor would I ever care to be. I understand this is your "thing" on this board so enjoy trolling and starting shit. I'm sure you have your hands full between here and Pirate4x4. Enjoy your day off and FOAD.

not a snowflake, nor a troll, been around a lot longer than you and just pointing out the obvious by calling out guy's like you when spewing bullshit, especially when they are questioned about how they set-up thier trucks. Let me guess, no need for a axle upgrades because you never broke one and your driving style is such where it's not needed

Lonley guy...ha..actually working on my buggy with a couple of friends, laughing at your stupid ass

suprised you're not a AZLRO guy, you fit the persona perfectly

How the fuck am I spewing bullshit? All I said was I got my cheap wheels and 35"s on and said I may have to do some trimming? I have broke plenty of shit, I would love to do every axle upgrade I can or link the bitch on 60's but I will be doing axles, carriers and lockers as $ is available. Glad to hear your not a snowflake also since this place is going to shit. You may have a few years on me but I've been wheeling for 25 yrs. Not into hardcore wheeling anymore not enough time and other things to spend my $ on. We can sit and fuck with each other all day, you have your opinion and I have mine. Glad I could give you and your buddy's a laugh, enjoy working on your buggy and have a cold one.

I ran my truck like that for probably 60k miles with no issues. It looked pretty bad, but it fit my budget (when I was in high school).

Great, I hope I can get 60k out of mine. Yeah I like the way it looks but everyone likes different things. As long as it runs down the road and trail fine I'm good,Got plenty of $ for other wheels but why if these are cheap and work.
