I need to ID a power steering box (that I do not have on hand) by the manufacturer's serial plate. It is an Adwest Var-a-matic GBE 26500-00. I either need to know the LR part number or what model/year it was made for. It came out of my Series IIa. TIA.

Looks like a standard "four bolt" LHD box to me. Pretty much all NAS rovers boxes are interchangable RRC, DI and Defender. The only difference is the steering arm (D90s and RRCs up to 1994 or so had the ball joint built into the arm, later ones it just has the tapered hole), but you can swap arms back and forth.

They might be interchangeable in practical use but the seal kits are seperate part numbers. The cap on the four-bolt top plate reads "8D2642100" while on my D1 it is "8D2642102". I guess I should have mentioned I'm needing a seal kit as you can see that it is leaking (and not from the inlet or outlet).

Also, does anyone know what the metric size/thread is on the hose ends? I have to custom make a set for the Chevy PS pump.
