Steering Stops - Do I need to adjust?

I am getting ready to put on BFG AT 265/75/16 on my ?03 Disco. I have heard different opinions if I need to adjust the steering stop. If so, where exactly are these? I looked at the steering / wheel area and couldn?t find anything that look like it would stop the wheels.

I guess I must be blind. When I looked on Sunday I couldn't find anything that resembled this. I had the tires off (I was swapping out the coils and shocks) and thought for sure I would see it. I also searched thru the RAVE CD but couldn?t find anything that discussed this.

Does anyone have a picture they can post or point me to a schematic from RAVE CD.

Thank you.

Are you mounting the 265/75R16's on your stock rims?

I have 265/75R16's on steel rims and don't need to adjust my stops.
A friend has 265/75R16's on stock LR rims and he needs to adjust his (hasn't yet).

If you're mounting on stock, I'd say you'll have to adjust them. If you're mounting of aftermarket steel rims with different offset then probably not. Just what I've seen on 2 DII's.

Find a ramp, flex on it, thenturn you tires lock to lock to find any issues.
