Trying to diagnose on an 01 DII (no swivel)...bone stock, 18 inch wheels.

New tires, balanced (twice) they are not the issue. (was doing this before I got new tires anyway) New tie rods, drag link, steering stabilizer about 20k miles ago.

So I have about 260k on this beast. Never replaced radius arm bushings...could this effect? Everything "seems" tight when in the air, no slop or play that I can discern. The other thing is shocks - Bilsteins, thought these last forever/lifetime? They have about 130k on them, vehicle does not exhibit dive or wallowing, passed bounce test etc.

I will say it is worse first thing in the morning, then after a few miles it goes away and comes back here and there, its not all the time., usually after it sits for a few hours after being driven.

Any ideas?

Panhard bar bushings. It locates the front axle, so if they wear out the axle can move around.
Also could be the upper or lower ball joints, those are not so easy to replace.
