A baffle or something has come loose in my exhaust. Since I want the truck to remain quiet, a stock catback exhaust is what I am looking for. If you replaced yours with an aftermarket one and its just sitting in the garage in good condition, let me know! I am in northern virginia if that helps.

Im not sure whats going on with Aaron, but it looks like he still hasn't removed the exhaust from his disco, and I am in a bind. I need an exhuast yesterday. If anyone else has a catback, please let me know. If someone know's aaron personally, please drop by and explain to him that I am STILL waiting after 26 days for him.

Thanks,
Scot

The baffle in the center resonator commonly goes out- a generic muffler can be stuck in it's place for about $50. Are all your other pipes bad?

Scott I haven't heard from you in a week, also the picture thing in the beginning is why it didn't get done a month ago. I got a lot of parts on here to sell and little times for demands. That is why I like paypal, it protects the buyer as well as the seller. If you want it I will remove it tomorrow and ship it, but I don't want to crawl under there and remove it until you paypal me the funds. It is a great price for a pain in the ass job, I don't mind helping a rover person out, I just don't want to lay in the driveway in the 40 degreee temp and not have it sold, I am not a shop just an enthusiast, and if you need a credibility check on me start a post in the general area and see what you come up with.

Aaron, I am not trying to bash you or hint that you are less than a good person. I understand your reasoning and can't fault you for what you have done. All I wanted before sending you money was a picture of the exhaust so I could see you really do have it, and its condition (with a handwritten note to prove it isn't a stock photo.) You did not explain why you didn't want to remove the exhaust in your messages other than that you couldn't do it one weekend due to the weather. My last message was asking you what your timeframes were after explaining I must have the new muffler by this weekend so my 18 hours of driving at the end of this next week wouldn't be hell on wheels. You said you would take it off last weekend, and get back with me. You did not do so, and I waited until friday to ask if anyone else has a muffler, but if you want to remove it I am more than willing to pay.

I don't think anyone here should believe paypal provides any buyer protection whatsoever, and if they do they should really check the reviews. They are simply an easy way to transfer money from one person to another and nothing more. If I tell them I didn't get the product I paid for, they will ask you if you sent it. If you say yes, I am out of the money. They don't care nor will they try to figure out the real story. If the muffler/resonator are not in good condition, they don't care. Only thing you can do then is reverse the charge on your credit card, if it was used, but you run the risk of having paypal freeze all accounts they know about and take you to court. It has happened plenty of times and I am not about to try to go through that fun. In their minds they are just the money transfer agent, and all of the sales issues are between buyer and seller.

If you told me that was the reason, not that the weather was stopping you, I would have tried to work out a deal. I am still willing to do so but lets not discuss that here online.

I'm going to chalk all of this up to miscommunications on both our parts. Lets get this done tomorrow morning and come back smiling telling everyone how happy we both are!

Hey Scot, I don't know Aaron, but I have bought parts from him. They were excellent, as described, and delivered quickly. I just sent him him Dweb's ip address night before last cause I hadn't seen him on and was interested in more parts. The only problem is that now there on Ebay and I have to wait for them.

Come on now Mike only the parts you want are on ebay. Hey that part is cheaper on ebay right now, so it could go in your favor. As for the exhaust debalacle it will be off in the AM. and packaged, and believe me you will know it isnt a stock photo.
