Stock Stereo all of a sudden 1/2 the volume ???

I am totally clueless to why this is happening all of a sudden one day the stereo which sounded pretty good now sounds kinda weird and is 1/2 the volume any ideas!!!

If you have the volume control buttons on the dash, check for that having been turned down.

I can remember driving around for a week wondering why my radio wasn't booming like it should. Turns out my g/f was using the volume controls buttons more than me.

those buttons pissed me off. you had to push them a good 10 times before it went down any. i took them out and run my aux lights from there using rear fog light switches. i think it looks really neat there, like it came from LR with them. the DII steering wheel volume switches are more practical.

Yeah its not those switches that was the first thing i checked... they are stupid how much closer are those than the regular knob i don't get it... if anyone else has any ideas let me know!!

did u blow the two rear speakers? wouldn't suprise me the way i play my music. Mine are gunna be updated soon.

Low Volume

Check the subwoofer Amp, if its bad your rear subwoofer speakers will not work and you don't get the loud bass sound, also any other busted speakers could be your problem.

Mine started doing the same thing over labor day. I hit a bump then the radio got quieter. I just hit the dash near the radio and got the full volume back up.
