I should mention...this truck is staying COMPLETELY stock. No stickers, no lift, no nothing. :)

No lift, no mods, no nothing?

You cannot resist! Too much temptation!

The reason to keep it stock is that it just rides so nice and pulls strong. With two other lifted trucks, with heavy duty springs and 10-ply tires...this one will be a nice highway truck for now.

Center diff lock works beautifully though--we definitely tested it!

Sounds like my 97, stock no sunroof manual everything 5 speed. Its nice to have something that fits in parking garages and doesn't have 2 giant leaks in the roof.

Changing the oil sucks, but the gas mileage makes up for it.

There is a White 95 5-speed on E-bay right now w/57K miles on the ODO, bone stock, no sun-roofs and cloth interior...I like it alot!

Sus, you know some OME shocks and springs would improve your highway ride even more! Then some new BFG A/T tires. Then it all begins

So is my new 96.
A stock Disco is a beautiful ride - I would've never known how badly I fucked up my first D1 if I hadn't bought an unmolested one.

pm--I'm in total agreement.

My Disco with the 2"RTE and BFGs rides well, but on bumpy roads in town it's rough. Not to mention, there are often people I tote around for work who can't get IN the thing! I've been planning to add the D2 spring isolators to help the roughness. Off pavement though, it's great.

This Disco MIGHT need new(er) shocks...it has a little more body roll than I'm used to and Ivan said he thought he felt one bottom out on the ride home. They are original. We have a set of good Bilsteins at the house we took off the RRC when we lifted it, so time will tell if she will get that set.

Of course, we weren't actually looking for another Rover; this one fell in our laps but I think it will be a good truck.
