Stratos 16 inch wheels

Hi Guys, searched the forums could not find anything conclusive. I am buying a set of 16 inch stratos wheels for my 03 d2. I am just wondering will a 265/75 fit ok on that rim or? Any other recommendations. Thanks alot guys.

it will fit the rim but wont fit on your truck without a lift.

The reason I bought the rims is because I have a 2 inch ome lift, and 18's are tough to find larger aggressive tires for. Do you think 265/75 or should I go for 235/85 so I would not have to trim as much.

No trimming for 265/75 tires with a 2" lift. I just posted pictures in the lifted thread of my truck 2" lift and those size tires and there are tons of pictures there of the same setup.

One of our texas rovers just put the ome 2 inch lift on with 16s and 265 75 16s and we had to trim her bumper and front innner fender plastic.

Lloydster, you probably didn't have to trim. The other option is to adjust the steering stops slightly so that the tires don't rub on the radius arms and/or bumper, etc.

It didnt rub the radius arms. it rubbed the inner plastic fenders on the front and the lower rear corner of the front bumper. we cut the inner fendrs off about halfway up and angled the corners of the front bumper forward. This was on a 2002 d2.
