Stuck in Park

The old stuck in park syndrome.Couldn't have been in worse place (location wise).No option leaving or towing so after 30 minutes and multi-attemps of stepping on brake and trying to shift out of park it shifted! Drove it home and left it parked in neutral.Going to take to shop tomorrow and get fixed.Better now than in Moab next week.This was new one for me.Obviously after getting home and doing Dweb search it is semi common occurance with several possible causes.

Thanks for offer but I was taking it in tomorrow for it's pre-Moab check up anyway. Was at Waterloo Animal hospital with sick dog when this occured.I live on other end of town (Ridge Golf Course) Wife out of town and was looking at about 2 mile walk home(with sick dog) when it jumped out of park. If you are who I think(well built white D1) I see you on 270 occasionally on way to work.See you around Monroe Co.
