I have a customer who wants to go all out on his LR3. heavy duty bumpers, sliders, full rack, tires, rims (?), LineX the whole body (yes really), snorkel and even have some odds and ends chromed. doesnt sound like money is an issue, but the aftermarket LR3 is still new to me aside from ARB stuff. So anyone know some companies making this stuff? I did some quick searching and the rear bumper seems to be none existent so far.

Lucky 8 has some dang nice armor for the LR3. I think RTE is doing front and rear bumpers. Other stuff just don't know.

Line X and chrome?

The magnitude of that reminds me of a quote: 'Now we are all sons of bitches.'

Yes, I just equated defiling a Rover in that manner with the detonation of an atomic bomb.

You know, I like my LR3 but pimping it out as a "wheeler" just seems like a bad idea. Sure it might look cool but at 6k Lbs adding another 1K with accessories seems like an awful heavy load to place on those little tiny axle shafts.

Oh well to each his own!

And if you client has more Dollars than sense (pun intended) I say milk it!

not to mention the electrical issues that can arise. seems he wants something that looks cool and functional, but not on the extreme side. he wants things like the side vents and lettering chromed. not sure ho that will work since they're plastic, but thats part of the fun with the project. the rear bumper thing will be the big issue. a local guy fabbed one of his own, so I'm going to see if he's for building another.

I've got RTE's front bumper, Rover Specialties sliders, LR raised air intake & rack, and 285/60/18 tires on stock rims. There are more AT/MT tire options for 18" (I think you can safely go to 285/65/18) than 19". Both the RTE & RS protection is strong and were well worth the $.

Been 4 years with no issues, even with the heavy towing we do, other than a couple mpg less. RTE & Kaymar have rear bumpers that I don't care much for looks-wise personally, but that's just me. I just keep putting the bumper skin back on when it rips off lol.
