Electoral Votes
270 of 538 needed to win
Bush 269
Kerry 242
OH - President
100% Precincts Reporting
George W. Bush (i) Republican 2,794,346 (51%)
John F. Kerry Democrat 2,658,125 (49%)
a difference of 136,221
according to Kerry, there are about 250,000 provisional ballots in Ohio that still have to be verified and then counted
according to the Ohio Sec of State, there are about 150,000 provisional ballots
then there are also uncounted mail-in ballots (mainly overseas troops)
if there are enough legitimate provisional ballots, and if all or nearly all of them are pure Kerry votes, then it is theoretically possible that Kerry could take Ohio and up his electoral count to 262 while Bush's electoral count would drop to 249.
then there are WI, IA, NM, and NV remaining.....a total of 27 electoral votes.
Looks like Kerry has WI and it's 10 electoral votes (state is not called yet, but Kerry is up by one point or 13,646 votes)
Bush is leading the other remaining states (17 electoral votes) by 1 - 3 points.
So if Ohio reverses and goes to Kerry, and Kerry takes WI, then it could be a Kerry administration.
