I went out to try and change the swivel ball grease and there is no drain plug. I have a '97 D1 so what the H*@l do I do. Do I tear them down or can I remove the bolts on the seal and let it drain? Or do I do nothing? Help please I am going on a trip in it week after next. Thanks all

Just remove the tire, the brake shield, and one of the T-40 screws in the bottom pin. If there's any oil left inside, it'll drain out. To help it drain faster, rinse the top of the knuckle with brake cleaner (to clean away all the grime), pull the ABS sensor out of the top pin, & spray carb cleaner into the hub to loosen the grease inside. It'll evaporate quickly, so it won't affect the new grease.
