managed to get both the plugs out of the t-case, Is the refill 2 qts or until it flows out the fill hole? or kinda both? I'm chasing down a growl from the drive line and was sorta hoping the case was dry, but it drained a quite a bit of fluid so its just a refill and button'er up.

Thanks, all done. 2 bottles and a squirt did the job. all buttoned up. Did the diffs yesterday and the tranny last week. Currently have it up on 4 jack stands looking for the source of the growling and/or vibration, quick spin shows no noise except brake drag, the tires are scalloped on the inside edge. these tires are many, many years old, could they be problem?

what kind of tires are they? have they been balanced recently?

driveshaft is the number one, make damn sure none of the joints are loose. I find on mine which I rebuilt, I need to grease at least evey 3,000 if not sooner.

Bridgestone duelers HT, stock size, no they haven't been balanced since new. Just took out the front shaft, seems fine on the bench. Thought maybe the front tcase bearing was going bad, however it seemed alot "looser" with shaft in than after it was out.

I have a lift and MT's but that being said when my tires are low on air or in need of rebalancing I will get bad vibes right around 72 mph. Sometimes if it is bad I can feel it earlier. I'd check those things out just for sanity check.
