just picked up a 2001 d2 with all the goodies, lift, air lockers, etc, etc. Anyhow the transfer case (with diff lock) is leaking....sometimes a pretty good amount. Not sure if i am going to replace, or keep refilling with fluid. Anyhow, where is the fill plug? is it the big plug right next to the parking brake?
problem currently is fluid hits exhaust pipe = awesome smell. if i can continue to fill and modify a piece of metal to reroute the dripping then im not going to replace it. otherwise, i have a line on a used tcse with diff lock.
also, anyone in Northern VA, or know of any trail rides within a few hours drive, let me know.
