Yes, but isn't this nice????? (I won't be getting the "dubs" you see in the picture... just the standard 19"s) I'm getting it anyway--Ron's just venting.

So Dweb's funny bone is relegated to cute dog names and Jeep jokes?

Actually, I'm flattered by the consistent defensiveness regarding my posts. I'm glad you come with your guns loaded around this Mindless Arrogant Monkey!

Or perhaps you're trying to absolve my insidiuous social conscience! Gasp!

Ron's "Sniff Sniff", now that got a giggle out of me. Every time I try to spit a loogey on the saddle of his yuppie horse, he just whips out the Armor All (or is it CFC-rich All Purpose Foam Cleaner? :p) and polishes it right off. That's awesome.

Greg, flame me with a little more Funny, eh? That's what this section of the forum is all about, right?

Edit: Sorry to hijack the thread, Ron.. I'm done.

Ho's right. Forget the RR and do the LR3.

The RR's going to be a considerably cheaper lease payment for me personally ('04 vs '05, incentives vs. no incentives, subsidised leases vs. no subsidised leases) & it's got a few things the LR3 doesn't have: really good lumbar support, a lot more leg room, front park distance control, heated steering wheel, memory seats on both passenger and driver side, power steering wheel, rain sensing wipers, a bigger sunroof, more comfortable seats, one-touch everything, seats that are easier (for me personally) to flip around, bigger cargo, MUCH more luxurious interior, more leather, nicer leather, beautiful wood trim, and on and on it goes. Plus, it's a $75k vehicle vs. a $55k (loaded HSE) vehicle. And it's a Range Rover for god's sake. ...and, although the LR3 appears that it will have amazing quality standards & great reliability, I haven't seen that yet. Plus, I want/we need a new car immediately. I already know that the Range Rover is fabulously reliable. I got myself into a new model lemon with the BMW and I'd like to avoid a repeat of that if possible.

Granted, it's an '04 vs. an '05, it doesn't have the amazing touch-screen NAV, the absolutely blow-you-away H/K Logic7 sound the LR3 has (although the RR has more watts and L7, the LR3's speaker placement makes the sound experience unparalleled), or the extra hp, or voice recognition (although I CANNOT get that to work--it doesn't like my voice!), or terrain response (which is just AWESOME), or a rear locking diff. All that said, I still like the Range Rover for me. It's a better fit for my lifestyle.

And cmondieyoung, I donate plenty to charities-- just ones in our own country. Don't try to bust me on not giving back.

LOL-I'm sure I'm not the only one that finds your pretentious arrogance irritating. Perhaps, if you stopped trying to be the "social conscience" for all of Dweb, I wouldn't be bothered-but then that wouldn't be as entertaining would it?

I might, especially if I host a wheels event. I'll probably do a trials course or two. We'll more likely take the LWB off-road. I don't want to do anything too potentially damaging since it's a lease and brand new!

I was looking at an '04 RR yesterday and all I could think of was "this would be a great truck if I could bolt on some coils, front and rear sals, natos with MT's, and an LT230..." :D
