Im assuming that you've never been in one and have no point of reference and are just regurgitating something that someone else said to you. I'll admit that the C5's are better then the C4's were, but I would still take either over a boxster or eclipse.

Vettes use to be straight line POS's, not any more.

A reason to buy a RR, it has a BMW engine. This "may" be the best years for a RR given that the next generation will have Ford's fingerprints on it. Something to consider.

Funny you mention the BMW engine as a "plus" to a guy who has had never ending trouble with his BMW. hehe...

Yup, I have been in them before. I am not regurgitating anything, it is my own belief that I have. I really have no respect for very few if any American cars, they are mostly POS and worthless. I think it is also really stupid how they are trying to compare the new C6 to a Ferrari 360 and a Lambo. They are not in the same class at all.

Ok, well the papers are all signed now, so I guess I am the proud new owner of a new 2004 Alveston Red Range Rover! :D

It's really filthy and detail didn't have a chance to get to it yet, so pictures will have to wait. :(

I put rubber floor mats in it (darn sand colored floors!), and am thinking about the rear cargo mat--but I wanted to talk to Ron about spending that much more. I really wish they sold seat covers individually--I would like to get a waterproof seatcover for just the passenger side for Puppy to sit on. I'm sure Ron will tell me just to use a blanket, but she spins so darn much she just rumples it. I'm very happy that this particular Range Rover has Michelin Synchrones on it, as opposed to the Goodyears. I did transfer my "What Mud" license plate to it, so it won't look exactly like everyone else's Range Rover, and the Lucas legacy lives on. I guess we're going to have to get trailer wiring too.

:D :D

forget just the BMW motor issue. doesn't it scare you that you bought a BMW with a Landy badge? The whole bloomin thing was engineered by the boys in Bavaria.

A BMW...with Land Rover "dependability"...I see some fun threads in the future...

sure is pretty tho
