When Tellico is dry, it is alright. For the most part, stick to trails 4,5,6. Trail 5 is short and a little nasty. Just pick your way through the rocks. You can also roll up trail 8 for a bit. At the beginning, its a lot of fun.

Are you going by yourself? If so, I hope you got a winch. BFG A/Ts are not the best tire for Tellico. The terrain is rocks covered in mud. That will be your main problem, and lack of a locker.

Since you are going on weekdays, you'll have the entire place to yourself. It'll be desolate.

Josh,

You should do fine as long as you are going with others who have been there before. You are making the right choice by doing 4,5,6 and 8. My first time at Tellico was total stock and did not have any damage. The secret was going with other Landies who knew the obstacles and the best line to take.

Look forward to seeing you at Tellico with SOLAROS.

My first Tellico run was stock and I chickened out of a lot of stuff. I did, however, pull a toyota taco out of a rut. It all depends on the weather. Tellico changes ever time it rains.

as to the SOLOROS trip, when are you going up? Stu454, roverless, and myself are probably heading up thursday night after work.
