Terrafirma Springs/Shocks

I've been looking at the Terrafirma springs/shocks packages and trying to decide which one would be best for my application. They have the TF207 (light) and two medium setups (TF202 & TF208). I have a 1997 D1 300Tdi but don't plan on adding a winch in the near future but might add a factory brushbar. In the summer I run a Frontrunner roofrack with an Autohome tent and ARB awning. I'm also running 235-70-16 tires right now and would like to go a bit bigger and narrower.
I'm leaning towards one of the medium sets but wonder how this will impact my drive in the months when the rack and tent are off the truck as I commute about 95 miles round trip Monday to Friday.
Any advice or suggestions are appreciated.

The TF202 is the All Terrain medium duty, and the TF208 is the prosport medium duty FWIW. I didn't notice a large difference when I went from the all terrain to prosport in my D2.

The TF med duty lift setup rides well on the highway and it's a good setup on for the trails.. The light duty is just that.. very much like stock.. I have the +2 AT shocks on my D1 and the dampen great but then again I don't wheel like the hardcores. The Prosport or Bigbore with the larger pistons yet more HD, mainly help to aid in agressive terrain to keep the oil from foaming up from hard use... They aren't going to ride like Fox's, Bilstein Baja, Rancho RS..

There's a bizarre tire size - 215/85R16. Not too much choice there, mostly for dualies, a little taller than 245/75R16.
There's a Hankook mudder in this size, and Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac.
I wouldn't use this size for all-around duties, these have their place for the long (very long!) trips. Less rolling resistance and less cross-section may get you about 1-1.5mpg extra (about 10% more range).
I'd also favor these tires for moderately-deep snow or mud with hard bottom.

Actually always need to wrap my head around the dimensions of tires. 235/85/16 sounds good. Just showing a bit more profile with a 2" lift. I have to balance the look/function against day to day commuting. Likely go with BFG All-Terrain TA's.
I'm no longer into really hardcore offroading. My truck is more to get me to a nice off the beaten path campsite.
Leaning towards the TF202 kit as well.

The TF medium springs are the same as OME HD, so I'm sure TF light is stiffer than stock. I have TF medium and it feels pretty stiff. Trying to remember where the data was on this..

The Pro-Sport shocks are worth it IMO, much beefier construction.

OP's truck is a D1, 265/75 will require a little more than medium-duty springs.

Ordered the TF202 kit. Once installed we'll see about tires. The parts will be coming from England on the slow boat with a bunch of Terrafirma parts to sell at the shop. Looking forward to it.
