Don't forget that Monday, November 10th is the 233rd birthday of The Marine Corps. And Tuesday, November 11th is Veterans Day. Celebrate them! Semper Fi!

Wanna know a sad thing? I asked 4 of my co-workers if they knew what Veteran's Day was. No one knew, not even an NCO and we are all in the Air Force. Some people today in the military don't even know simple military holidays. They just come in for a free education and get out. No sense of pride or anything. Makes me sad. Happy Veteran's Day.

I am a Marine and served from 2001 to 2005, I did 2 tours in Iraq and got out as a E-5 and as a Disabled Combat Vet. Semper Fi. To all that are currently serving, " Be safe and congrats!" Happy B-Day Marine Corps! Happy Veterns Day to all that served!

Thank you to all branches of the Armed Forces for their service to this country protecting our freedoms we often take for granted and often at the expense of blood to defend those freedoms. Without your dedication to protecting our shores and our country, we would find ourselves in similar conditions to those found in other countries much less fortunate than ourselves. Thank you, my heart goes out to not only the soldiers, but their families as well.

Wishing all who served a much appreciated Veteran's Day. I will be calling my grandfather today and thanking him for his service to this country and for being the reason we have lived so comfortably for so many years. He doesn't hear it enough and today is the day they get reminded.....
