Don’t know if I can agree with that. The Pretender has been marketed based on its “rugged” and off-road chops.
Not sure how to respond to that. It’s just weird.Yeah, and I guess drinking your piss could be touted as a cure for COVID, that doesn't make it so. Oh, wait... sarcasm right.....
LR literally said that the new Defender is the most capable vehicle that they have ever made. LR also thinks that there is no market for a utilitarian offroad vehicle so...Sorry, I could only take your statement that the Defender was a rugged off-roader as sarcasm. Way out there sarcasm. So I responded in kind.
I gotcha. Read you wrong. Apologies.Sorry, I could only take your statement that the Defender was a rugged off-roader as sarcasm. Way out there sarcasm. So I responded in kind.

I feel JLR knows there's a market, it's just not "their" market. They can't see what's ahead of them because they're too busy looking down their nose.LR literally said that the new Defender is the most capable vehicle that they have ever made. No need for that. Sometimes shit gets misconstrued over the 'net. No worries.Apologies.
So what say you: with cost being no object, would you buy a new Defender or a new Bronco?
Not sure how to respond to that. It’s just weird.
Just ignore him. He goes away eventually. Not sure how to respond to that. It’s just weird.
Are there not lockers for IFS trucks?I think that Bronco roof is going to leak. Not sure how they lock a steering axle unless it has some kind of inhibbit, like maybe it only locks in crawl mode?
Those look like the same axles Rover uses, and the dash looks very much like the dash on a Defender.
As does the newG wagon. This wont be your typical Rover/Yota IFS. In order for them to run 35s stock, the diff has to be up to the challenge.Chevy Colorado ZR2 offers a front locker in IFS from the factory. I don’t see why putting one in IFS v solid axle would be such a challenge
