Does anyone do anything visible to their D1 to prevent or deter vehicle theft? I just added (4) 9" LED lights to the roof rack and it's always on my mind that this kind of stuff is so visible.

Well I bet nobody around here will take your 4 9" LED lights. But could you post up a picture of them just to be sure?

Just take that crap off your truck so you don't have to worry about it.

In truth, there are security bolts/screws, and red loctite, but a determined thief will either get it or destroy it trying.

I just leave the broken crap in the rear area uncovered and all of the receipts spread about in the passenger seat. No one has ever touched the truck.

I think the keys have left the ignition in mine maybe three times, and my truck is no slouch and the stereo system is killer. As hot as the thing gets inside generally I leave the windows down or cracked.

I can run faster than it can drive away if someone tries to steal it.

If someone is intent on stealing your car, they are going to steal your car. If they are intent on breaking in, they are going to break in.

With that in mind - I have other shit to worry about.
