The best answer for thievery like the stories above is bullets and death. Go ahead and call it an inappropriate or unproportionate response but I'll stand by my statement all day long. I've had windows smashed, stereos stolen, credit cards racked up within hours, etc. I don't want the people that do these things on my planet, they should be killed. I don't give a flying fuck about their disadvantaged youth, their sub-par education, their chemical dependencies, etc. Fuck 'em, kill 'em.

I've work hard, damn hard to earn what I have. I see no moral delima using all force need to keep someone to lazy, stupid, evil, etc, etc from taking it from me.

Well what I don't understand is the people who try to rationalize appropriate responses to criminals...if someone is mugging you and they just want your wallet, these people will say, "Just give them your wallet, killing someone because they are stealing your wallet isn't right." Bullshit, I say. What if they want your wallet & watch? Am I allowed, by your standards, to kill them then? Probably not. What if they want my wallet, watch, and car? Oh, I have insurance, death is overkill there too. What if they want my wife too? In that case we'll have to discuss what their goals are with my wife. Do they plan on killing her? Or maybe just a little rape, or maybe they just want to talk. I guess the safe thing to do is just to wait for the criminal to decide and then we'll read the police report to see what happened. Then we'll "take them to court." Yes, that is the safe play. Fuck that noise, kill them and save us all some time, hassle, and money. I can also guarantee that the criminal will never perpetrate another crime.

I had some bastard rip through my convertible top and reach in to unlock the door. They managed to break the center console open to try the trunk button even with the alarm going off. I think they were after the rims/tires on the car, but can't be sure.

When I had a convertible XJS I used to just leave the doors unlocked because I figured that anything someone might steal from inside the car is cheaper than a new convertible top from Jaguar!
