Anyone interested in going to Brown Mountain on Wed the 23rd? I got the day off and my truck has been looking a little too clean lately.

Wow, 44 people read this and no one was interested. This place must not be much fun. I ended up clearing trail as precisely 2.4 gagillion trees came down the friday before and Christmas Eve. Looks like job security as I'll be clearing trail for some time to come. Can't complain about making fresh tracks in my own truck on the clock. 
We may be doing a ride in N Georgia friday if you want to come down. Probably start around Clayton which is about 1 1/2 hours from Asheville. Where is Brown Mountain?
What time and where are you meeting? I'd have to leave Asheville after shaking off a hangover from the night before, so an early start might be optimistic.

I checked it out and it looks good, alot of moderate and dificult trails. The last day of the season is this friday. I'm up for checking it out. Call me when you get a chance and we can work out the logistics.
